This club supported three female student teachers in participation of their community visiting school principal program and funded a scholarship for a student teacher to further pursue her own education in teaching.
The Soroptimists recognised the lack of opportunities for young women to experience realistic educational opportunities in their personal development as educators, as well as the lack of females in positions of leadership in the educational system.

- In the first edition of the Global Impact Report (2010), SI noted that there was a dearth of females in leadership positions in the educational system in the US. This was noted as a regional focus. This club has taken up that identified gap and targeted females learning about a potential career as heads of schools.
- Not only did this club show the group of supported students that leadership positions are within their range, but they also then provided a scholarship for one woman to pursue this course of development.
- The community visiting programme was more than just an awareness raising/career fair experience as it gave these women real world experiences – a great form of education in and of itself.
